New Life Furniture Bank of MA is pleased to welcome Andy Crossley as our new Executive Director, effective January 6, 2025. Andy was selected from a strong pool of candidates.  The New Life board of directors and staff were impressed with his understanding and passion for our mission and his grasp of New Life's challenges and vision for the future. His engaging personality and communication skills put him at the top of the list.

Andy most recently served as Chief Development Officer and Deputy Director of Boston Scores, a non-profit after-school and summer learning program that serves over 1,500 children and their families each year in the Boston Public Schools. While at Scores, Andy steered the organization's multi-year capital campaign that resulted in the opening of the Scores Field soccer park and education center in East Boston in July 2024. He has also served as the founding Executive Director of the Positive Coaching Alliance's New England chapter from 2011 to 2014.  Prior to entering the non-profit sector in 2011, Andy worked in the professional sports field for over a decade, including positions with the Atlanta Summer Olympics Organizing Committee and as General Manager of the Boston Breakers women's professional soccer team and the Brockton Rox minor league baseball team.

A native of Brighton, Massachusetts, Andy now lives in Easton with his wife and two children.  He is active in youth sports coaching, plays guitar poorly but enthusiastically and is a fanatical pickleball competitor.  He is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta.

Please feel free to welcome Andy at andy@newlifefb.org.

We wish Rich Purnell the very best as he and Melissa and their children embark on a new adventure in Chile this winter.  His last day with New Life Furniture Bank was December 5th.
